Chemo Comfort Touch, Greet The Day's Infusion Center Program, was started in August 2006. This program is provided at no charge to the patient.

During Chemo Comfort Touch, oncology massage accredited therapists (massage therapists, estheticians, mani/pedi technicians) provide hand and foot massage for patients receiving chemotherapy in outpatient Infusion Centers.

Comforting massage provided onsite at the Infusion Center is a reminder that the body can find relief and relaxation in spite of the emotional stress and physical discomfort experienced during the routine course of treatment.

In October 2016 Greet The Day partnered with the University of Southern California's Masters of Public Health program to evaluate the benefit of massage for patients being treated in the outpatient infusion treatment center setting.

March 2017 results from the evaluation project showed that a 20-minute hand or foot massage provided for patients receiving cancer treatment in the outpatient infusion center made a statistically significant reduction in the patients experience of pain and anxiety.

These results further support the findings of clinical trials that have determined the same massage benefits for people receiving cancer treatment in an infusion center setting.
